I&#039;ve not looked into plugins for IE that much because they tend to be pay options and bolt-on extras, rather than enhancements to existing features.  The search and tabbed surfing options listed on the site you linked to, for example, didn&#039;t offer anywhere near the same flexibility and functionality that I can get in FF, and many of them wanted a fee for the privilege.

And where&#039;s theme support?

Overall I&#039;m somewhat underwhelmed by the IE plugins.]]></description>

You seem to be completely forgetting that Internet Explorer also has many plugins, and people are just as free to modify it how they choose. I&#039;d wager that there are actually MORE plugins, and more technically mature plugins available for IE, since IE plugins have been developed long before Firefox was a twinkle in Mozilla&#039;s eye. You ought to check this out:
